The studio has mostly taken it in stride, describing it as a &#8220;shadow drop&#8221; despite how the sudden release has robbed the team of prior marketing for the new version. According to the devs, a patch is on the way, though many players on the r\/PSVR subreddit claim it runs well despite the lack of a day-one patch. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">1) It was unforeseen.  2) There are some relatively minor issues that have been fixed and are slated to ship in a supposedly day 1 patch.  Obviously, going to be like Day 5 now. Fortunately, the team is not stuck with a broken game and those who have jumped in are experiencing minimal issues. Sony hasn&#8217;t commented on the matter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It goes without saying that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/PSVR\/comments\/19fh2pb\/ultrawings_2_is_on_the_store\/kjkptop\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">fans on PS5 are delighted<\/a>, though they do express sympathy for the developers.
