It will arrive on Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles on February 8, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tom\u00e1s Esconjaureguy previously brought us <em>The Night of the Scissors<\/em> back in 2022, which sounds like a localization title for <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.destructoid.com\/after-28-years-the-original-clock-tower-is-finally-coming-west\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Clock Tower<\/a><\/em>. <em>Cannibal Abduction<\/em> followed in 2023 on PC, where it was self-published by Selewi, Esconjaureguy\u2019s publishing label.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As is standard for cannibal stories and common in horror, <em>Cannibal Abduction<\/em> has the protagonist, Henry, breaking down while on a road trip. A friendly local stops to give him a tow, and you know how this goes. Henry finds himself on the menu and has to escape before the meal begins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"CANNIBAL ABDUCTION - Coming to Consoles!\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/4AivsQwunEU?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>To be honest, it sounds rather standard with fixed camera angles, hide-and-seek gameplay, limited inventory, and \u201csoft\u201d puzzle solving. However, <a href=\"https:\/\/store.steampowered.com\/app\/2189640\/Cannibal_Abduction\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the reception to it<\/a> seems pretty warm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking of warm reception, while it doesn\u2019t explicitly say it&#8217;s a compilation in the title, Esconjaureguy\u2019s previous title, <em>The Night of the Scissors,<\/em> is included in the pricetag. The game has you play as Adam, who breaks into an abandoned post office to rob it, only to find it inhabited by \u201cThe Snipper,\u201d who doesn\u2019t take trespassing lightly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It might be worth noting that by Esconjaureguy\u2019s estimation, <em>Cannibal Abduction<\/em> will take two hours, while <em>The Night of the Scissors<\/em> is around 40.
