Some titles defy expectations and run well, while other relatively aged examples fail. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You&#8217;ll be happy to know that <em>Enshrouded<\/em> does work on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.destructoid.com\/alan-wake-2-hub-everything-you-need-from-start-to-final-draft\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Steam Deck<\/a> right out of the box. It&#8217;s not a perfect experience, but certainly enough to enjoy your adventure with. It is. Just give it a few minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once it&#8217;s loaded, go to Settings then Display and you&#8217;ll find your settings. There are a few options there and it automatically optimizes your settings. However, there are a few settings I think you can get away with sliding up. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Display Mode &#8211; Full Screen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Resolution &#8211; 1280&#215;800<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>V-Sync &#8211; <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Field of View &#8211; you can slide a little bit above 50% but not too much<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Limit Framerate in Background &#8211; On <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Quality<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Anti-Aliasing &#8211; FSR 2<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Anti-Aliasing quality &#8211; FSR 2<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>FSR 2 quality &#8211; Performance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Texture Resolution &#8211; Performance <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Shadow Quality &#8211; Performance <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contact Shadows &#8211; Off<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Indirect Lighting &#8211; Balance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reflections &#8211; Balance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fog Quality &#8211; Performance <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Volumetric Shadow Quality &#8211; Off<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>SSAO &#8211; Performance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Distant Objects &#8211; Performance <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Voxel Detail Models &#8211; Performance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Small Foliage &#8211; Off<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tessellation &#8211; Performance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Point Light Shadows &#8211; Performance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>There is one problem that arose. This requires you to press the Options button on the right for a few things. It doesn&#8217;t work. Instead, bring up the Steam Keyboard and press I instead.
