Yesterday, Bushiroad Games and developer Eighting <a href=\"https:\/\/www.destructoid.com\/wp-admin\/post.php?post=447083&amp;action=edit\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">revealed the first teaser for the game<\/a>, now called <em>Hunter x Hunter Nen x Impact<\/em>, as well as six playable characters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"\u672c\u683c\u5bfe\u6226\u683c\u95d8\u30b2\u30fc\u30e0\u300eHUNTER\u00d7HUNTER NEN\u00d7IMPACT\u300f\u30c6\u30a3\u30b6\u30fc\u6620\u50cf\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/oIEYoLbw3qo?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In the brief 30-second trailer, we get some in-engine footage alongside voice-overs from Gon and Killua, presumably from their original VAs. We didn&#8217;t get any gameplay or release date. However, it does seem that the game will utilize 3v3 fighting similar to <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.destructoid.com\/top-best-video-games-based-on-anime-ranked\/\">Dragon Ball FighterZ<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As previously mentioned, it looks like the game has already confirmed six playable characters. The video shows Gon, Killua, Leorio, Kurapika, Hisoka, and Neteru all walking into a stadium and preparing for battle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-great-another-tournament-arc\">Great, another tournament arc!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Having watched the anime, it felt nostalgic to hear the VAs and see the <em>Hunter x Hunter<\/em> crew again. The graphics are a bit simple, but the game is in development, so it\u2019ll shape up over time. Anime fighting games can be hit\/miss. For every <a href=\"https:\/\/www.destructoid.com\/reviews\/review-dragon-ball-fighterz\/\"><em>Dragon Ball FighterZ<\/em><\/a>, there\u2019s a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.destructoid.com\/reviews\/review-jump-force\/\"><em>Jump Force<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It does get me excited to see who\u2019s going to be next. Perhaps Neferpitou or Mereum? Or maybe Ging? I bet he\u2019d show up here instead of being there for Gon\u2019s childhood. Still a bit sore about that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you haven\u2019t read or watched <em>Hunter x Hunter<\/em>, it is a must for fans of great action and even better characters. It follows Gon, a young islander, who leaves his home to become the best Hunter ever, like his father. While it may seem charming at first, it gets dark \u2013Chimera Ant Arc anyone?\u2013, resulting in some of the best anime you can find.
