Where to find Night Shards in Disney Dreamlight Valley<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You’ll find Night Shards within the dirt. As you’re exploring all of the Valley’s biomes, look under your feet and try to find cracked ground<\/strong>. Once you see something like the picture above, pull out your Royal Shovel. You should find either Night Shards or Dream Shards beneath these spots. It can take a while to find some cracked ground, so keep running around and don’t lose hope. You’ll get enough Night Shards eventually. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Something that can help is to bring a friend with a digging specialty. They can sometimes double what you retrieve. You can also increase their friendship level by tagging along with them, which unlocks quests and items. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What are Night Shards used for?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Night Shards are needed to make Purified Night Shards<\/strong>. You’ll need them for one of the Fairy Godmother’s first quests. Night Shards are also needed to make a Potion of Dust for Simba and is a deliverable item for the villainous Mother Gothel too. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unfortunately, Night Shards can’t be sold for money just like Dream Shards. Try to put them into storage for a rainy day. If you want to make some cash from Goofy’s stall, try to make dishes like Fish Risotto<\/a> and Fish Pasta<\/a>.
